Settling Into A New Apartment

I’ve lived in three different apartments and it only seems as if the moving becomes harder and harder every year. I also find it very hard to settle into a new apartment. I loved my old apartment and the apartment before that. It always takes me a couple of months to settle in to a new apartment and make it feel like home.

My new apartment finally feels like home and I think it might be my favorite apartment yet. It doesn’t feel like an college apartment. It feels like an adult apartment. I LOVE IT. This was by far the hardest apartment to move into though. It was unbelievable. The way they make you move in is ridicules and when I move out I will be hiring movers because of this. Regardless of that my apartment is so cute.

How do you settle into a new apartment? How do you make it feel like home?

Well. A new apartment takes awhile to get used to. Especially when you used to live on the first floor of a three story building and you now live on the 15 floor of a 23 story building. I don’t know if I’ll every get used to the elevator ride, but I’m trying my hardest to get used to it.

I’m finally done adding everything I want to my apartment for the most part. I mean making your apartment feel like home takes time and most importantly money. I’ve been in my new apartment for a little over a month and I am very happy with the results. It looks so cute.

Settling into a new apartment tips:

  1. It won’t happen in one day. As I stated before it takes time and money to make your apartment into everything you want it to be.
  2. Look on Pinterest for some ideas and make the space your own.
  3. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on stuff for my apartment so I look on Amazon and I shop at stores like T J Max and Marshals. You can always find something cheap at places like this.
