How Can You Not Be Romantic About Baseball?

Not that long ago I wrote a post asking if it was baseball season yet (Well, maybe it was.)  However, baseball is back! The Indians play the Texas Rangers tonight (I started this blog this morning and I obviously haven’t had time since. It’s the effort that counts though right?)

Anyways, the Indians did win. First game of the season and the Indians put up a great fight against the Texas Rangers. Having baseball back is one of the best feelings in the world I would have to say. If you don’t agree then we can’t be friends. Just kidding. Maybe. I mean how can you not be romantic about baseball? It’s just impossible.

I do wish that my favorite player was healthy enough to play tonight. Shout out to Jason Kipnis. I just read this great article he wrote. If you would like to read it here is the link–

Jason Kipnis

It was also his birthday today. So also heres a birthday shout out. Even though he will never read this. It’s all good.

I’m so happy baseball is back. Even though I have evening classes until the beginning of May. So hard being a graduate student. *Roll eye emoji* I can’t even go to opening day because of it. Trying to be a good student ya know. I’ll save my skips until we make it back until the World Series, duh. My parents have season tickets behind home plate this year. You could say I am pumped.

It’s 1:30 am and I am writing a blog post about how excited I am for the season to get under way. Do I need to get a life? The obvious answer is no. Baseball is life!!

Thanks for listening to my rant.

  1. Not sure how I found this article, or this blog, but anyways – I completely agree! The start of the baseball season has got to be one of the best feelings anyone – well, anyone who is a real baseball fan – can have. Go Tribe!
